The truth is I can’t help you. This blog, book, or author can't help you improve, reach your dreams, or develop your strengths. Anyone can write down words, preach to the choir, or showcase their talents and confidence in any and every way, but it will not actually help you reach your destination. No one, except you, can really change your life.

If you are familiar with the self-development genre, you will see that as a common theme, but if you are still on the outskirts, you will notice many people trying to push their tips, products, attitudes, or mindsets on you. Nonetheless, eventually, you will be left wondering who or what to trust and believing your goals are out of reach. To know that power, or shall I say what power, is to discover yourself. And I can’t begin to tell you what that is or how because I am not you.

We all live different lives, and finding who you want to be in this modern world can be a lifelong process of creating new versions of yourself. Each of us has composed an array of perspectives of ourselves through the reflections of the echoes and beliefs others have remarked. I cannot know your struggles or emotions, I can’t comprehend your thoughts, and I especially can’t piece together who you are. We are an everlasting formulating mosaic. A pattern where the pieces have been created from the thoughts of others.

Every fantasy, negative or positive stance, desire or fixation, and belief has been a new piece added to the fractal to which we call me, myself, or I.

I have spent most of my posts trying to formulate all the different ways I can make you feel seen; in my judgment, that is what most of us unfailingly desire when we ache. I consider it to be an essential part of transforming when you are, in fact, surrounded by loved ones or even near the presence of love, which we all are. And although love is beyond any force we try to dissect; the aches will be boundless. And for that reason, no one can actually help you.

The ongoing tipping of our balances: love and pain, happiness and sadness, alone and accompanied. It has been compared to so much already, used in many pieces of writing: books, poetry, music, and script—budding flowers, crashing waves, climbing mountains, dancing. And if you have not acknowledged it already, then you are running away; no one is better than the tipping scales of what it is to be human. That is why I feel the need to showcase, in any way, for everyone to be seen. It is the easiest yet most compassionate way I can think of when one is striving to be better, bearing for kindness, or merely existing between their scales.

We have to exist with our doubts, and most of the time, it seems unjust; to be struck with a burden of any sort: comparison, shame, suspicion, betrayal, sorrow. Because no matter what feeds our beasts, the shit is always doubt. As time passes, the tidbits of collected opinions only construct the fractal, fed by doubt. We want to believe that we must want more, change the past to change the future, and triumph over others. To which we begin our harvesting, adding to the properties of the complex pattern, believing that our life isn’t good enough.

More often than not, we don’t want to believe what we are experiencing is doubt. Pushing away any thought that could lead to that answer, we try to push ourselves in any way possible to appear like we know what the hell is going on. Because let’s be honest, it’s hard to admit truths: feeling out of control, stuffed with fear, wanting more or better, scared of hurting another or letting go, trying to be someone else to be liked. No one wants to allow the possibility of doubt because it's difficult to admit the initial truths.

The notions of fractals, honesty, and doubt are grim; once brought up, topics should be immediately hushed. When sitting alone, many of us are too scared to sit with our thoughts and need a distraction from every part of the day. And for that reason, it is the driving factor that you need to take charge of your own life and your own thoughts. We have all the tips, tricks, and guides in the world to assist us. Therapy, books, podcasts, etc. But nothing and no one will actually help.

How do you expect those around you to be able to assemble your identity puzzle when you don't even know yourself? If asked what the picture would be, you would have no clue.

How do you anticipate growing when you don't even try to stop and meditate on the pieces of your mosaic? A mosaic is an artwork where each piece of the pattern is not the same, beauty by irregularity. Mosaics are meant to be stared at, and yet you only want to take a quick glance of your own.

How do you appreciate the complexities of being human, for all the components of your life, past and present, and who you are when you don't have gratitude for the fractal of what life is? Fractals are never-ending patterns, non-regular shapes with the same degree of non-regularity on all scales.

Snow in Alberta Canada

Clouds, snowflakes, mountains, lightning, and crystals are considered fractals, magnificence from nature. When we look at clouds and snowflakes, we never get pissed that they aren't all the same. We merely have an appreciation for their beauty when we take the time to look.

We merely have an appreciation for their beauty when we take the time to look. Finding the tools, people, and resources for you to be the person you desire is important. Education and support are necessary components of learning, and no one is better than anyone else by not accepting knowledge from others. So what is the key step; what is needed for you to be who you want, to love yourself, to be better, and accept growth?

It's the action of doing; it is you.

It's becoming aware in our daily lives as the awareness for mental health continues to grow, and it's a reality that I have also come to terms with myself. I am a girl who grew up in a society where social media was blooming, so of course, what was adding to my personality, my fractal, was the opinions of others.

It wasn't until I reached twenty-two that I truly began to start realizing the bold power of doing what I wanted. That's when the pieces of my mosaic started to become pieces I placed by myself for myself, and I began to take the time to appreciate each component of who I am. Once you begin the journey of action, the doing for you, the adding to yourself by yourself, that is when you'll find your key to unlock any doors you desire. Stop and meditate on the pieces of your mosaic.

Take a moment to reflect on the beauty of irregularity, just like a mosaic artwork. Each piece of your life, past and present, makes up the intricate pattern of who you are. But how can you truly appreciate and grow from these complexities if you don't take the time to stare at your own mosaic?

Think of life as a fractal, a never-ending pattern that is both unique and beautiful on all scales. Like clouds, snowflakes, mountains, lightning, and crystals, you are a fractal in this vast universe. Embrace your non-regular shape and appreciate the magnificence of your being.

Finding the tools, people, and resources to become the person you desire is crucial. Remember to appreciate the power of education and support from others. No one is better than anyone else by not accepting knowledge from others. It's through this acceptance and openness that you can unlock your true potential.

But the key step, the most important ingredient in your journey of self-development, is action. It's about becoming aware in your daily life and making choices that align with your desires. As the awareness for mental health continues to grow, it's crucial to prioritize your own growth and well-being.
